PHILLIES & BRINGING HOPE HOME HOSTED FAMILIES BATTLING CANCER FOR A DAY OF UNEXPECTED AMAZINGNESS!
On Saturday, September 29, the Phillies teamed up with Bringing Hope Home to make sure 15 local families battling cancer were treated to some “unexpected amazingness” at Citizens Bank Park.
Not only did the ballpark gates open early just for the families, but all were treated to an exclusive party in The Yard with special guests and surprises.
The Families enjoyed all of The Yard attractions, which included WIFFLE ball, Bullpen Speed Pitch, Phanatic Climbing Wall and the Hatfield Franks Hot Dog Launcher. Plus, food was provided by Chickie’s and Pete’s.
Surprise special guests also showed up play with the kids, they included the Phillie Phanatic, Phillies minor league players and Step Up Community Service Award winners:

Following the party, the group enjoyed the 7:05 p.m. Phillies game vs. Atlanta Braves.
