Family Advisory Board

The Bringing Hope Home Advisory Board, established in 2022, is made up of BHH Families, medical professionals, supporters, BHH staff, and a BHH board member. The Advisory Board provides direction and guidance into matters that impact our programs and services and most important, the Families that we support. Through roundtable conversation and honest feedback, this group provides critical insight for us to continue providing Unexpected Amazingness to local Families battling cancer.

2025 – 2026 FAMILY ADVISORY BOARD

Tina Clair

I found out about Bringing Hope Home through my oncology office, CMOH. I had always heard of these types of wonderful organizations but never thought I would be so blessed with the amazing work and gifts they provide for families who are faced with the unknown of a cancer diagnosis. When you receive that diagnosis, I know for me it wasn’t the financial aspect of it that scared me; it was the surgery, treatments, and side effects that really kept me up at night. It wasn’t until I had my first of many doctors’ appointments and started my treatment that I realized what a financial strain a diagnosis can have on a family, despite having wonderful health insurance. I was nominated to Bringing Hope Home through my office and received that wonderful phone call that we were recipients of BHH support at the beginning of the 2024 holiday season. It gave me a sense of relief and allowed me to enjoy the holidays, amid treatment and surgery prep. I am so looking forward to being a part of the BHH family hopefully for many years to come. They are a wonderful group of people doing amazing work, who truly care and are making such a difference in the lives of individuals and Families impacted by cancer.

Tricia Grande

As a Project Manager at Almac Group, a global leader in clinical trial technology, I am proud to be part of a team dedicated to advancing human health. Through our Randomization and Data Management solutions, we help deliver innovative treatments to patients who need them most. My connection with Bringing Hope Home began with my oldest son, AJ, who was diagnosed and sadly passed away with a rare form of pediatric cancer at the age of 18. During that difficult time, the BHH family stepped into our lives, treating us with compassion, dignity, and genuine care. Today, supporting BHH allows me to honor AJ’s life, his courage, and his incredible love for life. Outside of work, I cherish spending time in Sea Isle City with my family and friends, and I find great joy in being a mother to my other son, AJs’ brother Cody.

Sherie Martin

Through her Charitable Project Management work, Sherie was introduced to Bringing Hope Home. Sherie thrives on servicing others and making meaningful connections. As the oldest sibling of a large family, Sherie learned early that “it takes a village”. At a young age, Sherie managed to navigate her 6 siblings through both sad and happy times. This passion to “make it better” for those around her has caused Sherie to accept the invitation of joining Bringing Hope Home’s Family Advisory Board.  Sherie’s hope is to assist BHH’s families with compassion, empathy and dignity. Sherie is both honored and humbled to be invited to join the Family Advisory Board. Outside of helping others, Sherie enjoys spending time with family (Sunday dinners!) and friends, traveling and learning about other cultures.
