Bringing Hope Home Family Department Intern – Spring Semester

Light of Hope Family Program
- Complete weekly Family follow-up letters showing grant funds issued
- Provide support with weekly gift card mailings to Families
- Manage and organize data collected through the Light of Hope Family Program Family Survey
- Conduct Family and social worker spotlight interviews and produce articles as needed
Miscellaneous
- Assist with Family database needs and data entry/clean-up
- Find creative ways to share Family stories, quotes, and demographics with the BHH community
- Cultivate Family and hospital involvement
- Research additional resources to share with our Families based on area, cancer type, etc.
- General BHH event support for Signature Events as needed. All staff and interns assist with this for our large events
- Assist with administrative duties as needed
Ideal candidates should:
- Be comfortable speaking on the phone
- Have experience working in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Be extremely organized
- Be empathetic and open to speaking with Families
Bringing Hope Home Marketing & Events Intern
Job Description:
- Participating in weekly marketing meetings with the marketing team to go over goals and objectives
- Writing and posting blog posts, Facebook & Instagram updates, etc.
- Helping to implement a BHH social media marketing
- Opportunity to assist on-site at events as needed
- Create and manage our recurring social media days (content to be approved by Marketing Manager)
- Write articles following every BHH event, office happenings, etc. (with accompanying social media posts to go along with it)
- Assist with monthly giving follow up with our supporters
- Press Releases
- Research articles that support our mission that we can use both for social media and grants
- Secure Silent Auction Support for Signature Events
- Help with ideas around event (theme, setup, ways to raise $, etc.)
- Help spread awareness around events
