On Monday, Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children dedicated a consultation room in the Department of Hematology/Oncology, which was a joint-effort with Bringing Hope Home. The room, named in honor of Nicole Isenberg, provides a comfortable, private space for physicians to discuss diagnosis and treatment with families.
“We are grateful for the generosity of this wonderful organization.”
– Nicole Hiddeman, Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital
We have worked with Nemours for the past 3 years in collaboration on the Round For the Kids Golf Outing, a co-branded event that benefits both BHH and Nemours. This event has raised over $150,000 since 2010. Through our work with Nemours, we have been able to pay bills for Nemours families that are battling cancer, provide gifts to Nemours families during the holidays, and have been able to treat Nemours families to University of Delaware Womens Basketball games throughout 2012-2013 season.
“It was a great day and we are excited to provide hope with DuPont for all our families through the new Family Consultation Room”
– Paul Isenberg, CEO, Bringing Hope Home
