This year we are excited to host the 22nd Annual Divine 9 Open Golf Outing, at the renowned Philadelphia Cricket Club. Founded in 1854, The Philadelphia Cricket Club is one of the oldest clubs in the country devoted to the playing of games. The club has hosted several major championships – US Open 1907 & 1910; US Senior Players Championship 2016; Big 10 Championship 2019 and USGA Four Ball Championship 2024, and the PGA Tour’s 2025 Truist Championship.

ESTABLISHED TO CELEBRATE LIFE, GOLF, AND A MAN WHO LOVED THEM BOTH

“In 1998, my father, Morton Dittus, was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. By Easter the following year, he was in remission – we were even talking about playing golf again. Two weeks later, things took a turn for the worse, and I never truly got to say goodbye.
I wish I could have thanked him for teaching me to play golf and supporting my passion while I got an education. Through the game he instilled in me values that remain core to my personal ethos, respect, humility, and integrity.
Mort took up golf in his mid-thirties and kept a 20 handicap. He had an uncanny ability to land his Divine 9 wood on the green from almost anywhere. Because his Divine 9 wood brought him so much joy, I promised we would bury him with it. When the day came, I kept my promise and laid it beside him, praying it would keep him in good standing with the golf gods.
In his memory, and to support families affected by cancer – we launched the Divine 9 Open in 2004. By funding research via the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and partnering with Bringing Hope Home to help local families pay essential bills while fighting cancer, together we have raised over $4.8 million since inception.
Our hope is that our efforts will ultimately prevent other sons and daughters from losing a loved one too early, and certainly not before they shoot their own age.
A heartfelt thanks to the friends, families and companies who have supported this mission for 22 years and counting.”
