Bringing Hope Home is proud to celebrate our Co-Founder, Tim Sherry, and his wife Tolly Sherry, who were recently featured by CBS News Philadelphia for their growing social media presence as @TimTokSherry. What started as a joyful mother-son dance at their son Brad’s wedding quickly turned into an unexpected social media phenomenon. Since launching their dance videos on TikTok and Instagram, Tim and Tolly have amassed more than 200,000 followers, with videos reaching hundreds of thousands – and sometimes millions – of viewers.
While the attention has been exciting, what has meant the most to the couple are the messages they receive from people facing difficult circumstances, including individuals battling cancer and their loved ones. Viewers often share that Tim and Tolly’s videos provide a welcome moment of laughter, comfort, and positivity during challenging times.
Recently, Tim and Tolly brought that same energy to the dance floor at Parks Casino during a special fundraising event called TimTok Sherry’s Old School Dance Party which benefitted Bringing Hope Home. The event brought supporters together for an evening of music, dancing, and community while raising awareness for local Families battling cancer.
For Tim, whose passion for supporting cancer patients and their loved ones helped inspire the founding of Bringing Hope Home more than 15 years ago, the opportunity to combine joy, community, and purpose is especially meaningful.
“We never expected any of this,” Tim shared with CBS Philadelphia. Yet through every dance video and every event appearance, Tim and Tolly continue to use their platform to spread smiles and shine a light on causes that matter.
