On Friday, November 4, 2016, over 350 people came to the 5th Annual Ella Bella Fashion Show at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in King of Prussia to raise over $85,000 for Bringing Hope Home! Before the fashion show guests bought raffle tickets, participated in the silent auction, and took pictures at the photo booth. After cocktail hour everyone headed to the main room where dinner was served and they would get to watch our amazing models rock the runway.
Meet our 2016 Ella Bella Models & Stylists
During the show we got to watch some of our amazing families, styled by Nordstrom King of Prussia, take the stage by storm. After the fashion show creator, Michelle Goglia shared her story followed by Miriam Horrocks-Isenberg, BHH Founder Paul’s wife, a cancer survivor and pas Ella Bella models describes the true essence of Ella Bella:
“It’s easy to explain the financial support that Bringing Hope Home provides. The tougher one to describe is the emotional support. And I’ll tell you, when I walked out on that stage in 2015 as an Ella Bella model, even though I was bald, I felt beautiful. I felt all the love that each and every one of you feel tonight. It made me feel empowered. And that’s something you just can’t buy”
The Ella Bella Fashion Show raised over $85,000 for local families who are affected by cancer. With these funds, BHH can continue to help relieve stress during this difficult time by taking care of those critical household bills. With the weight of unpaid bills lifted off their shoulders, they can focus all of their energy on getting well. The below video captures what Ella Bella is all about: celebrating the small things in life that make a big difference.
Bringing Hope Home would like to sincerely thank everyone who came out and supported our Ella Bella Fashion Show. We could not provide Unexpected Amazingness without all of you! You can check out the full recap of the event here.
