Backpacks For Hope Program Prepares Families For Back To School

Back to school time can be such an exciting time of year! Sure, maybe you’re a bit sad that summer is coming to an end. But the anticipation of a new teacher, new classroom, maybe a new school, seeing old friends, making new friends, and buying new supplies to get ready for the big year ahead is pretty thrilling for most kids. Teva delivers Boxes of Hope to Families

During a Teva Pharmaceuticals volunteer expo in April, Eric Dowrick came across Bringing Hope Home’s volunteer table and information on a new program: Boxes of Hope. The idea behind these boxes was that they would serve as “Get Well Soon” packages for families to receive during their cancer treatment and contain fun treats to help get patients’ minds off of their treatment.
