Family Advisory Board

The Bringing Hope Home Advisory Board, established in 2022, is made up of BHH Families, medical professionals, supporters, BHH staff, and a BHH board member. The Advisory Board provides direction and guidance into matters that impact our programs and services and most important, the Families that we support. Through roundtable conversation and honest feedback, this group provides critical insight for us to continue providing Unexpected Amazingness to local Families battling cancer.

“I was introduced to BHH in 2014 while on my own cancer journey. When I learned about their mission, I was determined to get involved because I could not imagine fighting this disease and worrying how I could pay my bills at the same time; too much stress. I joined the Board in 2015 and when it was time for me to roll off the Board, I joined the Family Board of Advisors. I am blessed to be part of the BHH family.”

“I made my first referral to BHH in 2013 when I learned about this amazing program as the Oncology Social Worker for the Chester County Cancer Center! I then left that position, and since I returned to the Oncology Social Work position at Penn Medicine of Chester County in 2021, I have made numerous referrals to the Light of Hope Family Program. I currently serve on the Family Advisory Board and am most grateful for my connection to the program and all that they do to help my patients and Families!”
