WOW!

Where to even begin? On behalf of the entire Bringing Hope Home team, we would like to thank every single person that made the 13th Annual Great Guys Dinner on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 the best one yet. With your generous support, the event raised more than $365,000 for local families with cancer. The funds will be used to further our mission of providing unexpected amazingness to families with cancer in the Greater Philadelphia Area through emotional and financial support.

The night included a cocktail hour, silent auction, Family Honoree presentation, keynote speaker Rollie Massimino, attendance by the Philly 6 Coaches, and a special guest appearance by none other than Phil Martelli and his animated grandson “Mini Martelli”. The positive energy radiated throughout the room of over 500 guests.

We echo the words of one of our 2014 Family Honorees Jenny Reece, the 31 year old full time mother of 21 month old twins that “battles cancer on the side” who spoke so candidly and beautifully about her cancer experience at the event:

“Thank you for all of your unexpected amazingness, for helping us to celebrate life, and for giving us a million reasons to smile. Our family could not be more honored to be an Honoree, especially when standing among a room full of honorable supporters.

 

To meet so many different people including each of your families and friends, sponsors, and the other Family Honorees has left us ready to start today and the next and the next with a renewed sense of purpose. At BHH, that is what YOU each do for people…HOPE, LOVE, JOY, FRIENDSHIP, FAMILY!”

The energy continued to culminate and at the end of the night we held an “Adopt-A-Family Donation Drive“, where our guests had a chance to donate to adopt a family and pay for their bills around the holiday season. In a matter of minutes, the Adopt-A-Family Donation Drive alone raised enough to pay bills for over 50 families.
