LIGHT OF HOPE FAMILY GRANT PROGRAM
Thank you for your interest in Bringing Hope Home’s Light of Hope Family Grant Program. If you have a Family that is in need of financial assistance as they battle cancer, we want to help. Please review our guidelines to make sure the family that you wish to nominate meets our requirements before applying.
If this is your first time referring a Family to Bringing Hope Home, please contact Bringing Hope Home’s office at 484-580-8395 for information on how to apply.
Applications must be submitted online by a social worker or other member of the Family’s oncology team. Applications submitted from any other source will not be accepted. Each hospital is limited to referring a maximum of 2 families per month.
We will accept completed applications online on the following dates between 8am and 4pm:

Men and women currently in treatment for breast cancer, living in certain counties in PA and NJ, need to apply for assistance through the Cis B. Golder Quality of Life Grant. BHH partners with Living Beyond Breast Cancer for this grant, so please be aware that Families applying for this grant are unable to additionally apply for the Light of Hope Family Grant Program. Please review our guidelines here before beginning an application.

To start an application for a Family, please enter the password below and click “Access” followed by “Apply.” If you are a social worker or healthcare professional and this is your first time referring a family to BHH, please call our office to request the password. Once the password has been entered, this will open our pre-application form, which should be filled out by the social worker to begin a Family’s application. The pre-application confirms that the Family applying meets our guidelines. A pre-application can be completed and submitted to BHH at any time of the month to begin the family’s application in our system. Please print a HIPAA form for the Family to sign and complete. This form will need to be signed and uploaded on the family’s pre-application form.
Once the pre-application has been submitted, it is reviewed by BHH’s Family Department. The social worker will then receive an email from a BHH staff member, confirming that the Family meets our guidelines for assistance, so that the full application for the Family can be completed. The application can be saved at any time if more information is needed or if the application is completed outside of one of our acceptance days listed above.
We will only accept completed applications online on the acceptance dates listed above, between 8am and 4pm. Social workers will receive email confirmation once the Family’s application was accepted and approved. Families will receive a phone call from a BHH volunteer, welcoming them to our program and answering any questions.
