“I’m wishing you a very, very, very HOPEful holiday season!” This is just one of the many messages some of the girls from Mary C Howse Elementary School wrote to our families. BHH would like to extend a huge thank you to these students who are involved in the Girls on the Run program. Girls on the Run is a nonprofit that works to inspire young women “to be joyful, healthy and confident through a fun, experience-based curriculum.” The nonprofit encourages girls to embrace their differences and stand up for themselves and others. Last week, BHH had the opportunity to meet some of the girls involved in the program while they made Christmas cards for BHH families. These students extended messages of hope and happiness during the holiday season.
