We pay things like rent and mortgage, electric, gas, oil, water, home phone, cell phone, car payment, and car insurance bills. No money is paid to the Family directly. Rather, money is sent directly to utility vendors on the Family’s behalf.

Families will not receive any money directly from Bringing Hope Home. Grant funds are paid directly to the Family’s utility vendors. The only exception is if the Family is in need of assistance with groceries or gas, Bringing Hope Home can purchase gift cards as part of their grant and mail them to the Family to be used.
We do not pay medical bills directly. We assist Families with their household bills and hope that by doing so, it will better allow Families to pay their medical bills.
No, we are not an emergency fund. We try to help each Family as quickly as possible but cannot guarantee that payments will be made by a certain date. We are not liable for any late fees as a result of a missed or late payment.
Assistance will vary for each Family depending on BHH’s budget and each Family’s specific need, which will be discussed during the Family’s phone call with BHH’s Family Department.
